Video Editor

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Video Editor is responsible for reviewing audio and visual footage and using computer software to organize clips into a cohesive unit. Their duties include splitting or combining video clips, adding appropriate sounds or graphics, watching the finished product to catch mistakes before submitting it for review, and revising the finished product according to our feedback systems.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Work on a wide range of projects and video media, using various computer software to visualize and develop creative videos that meet business goals, including Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro etc.

• Meet with marketing team to conceptualize visuals that align with the each client’s specific brand style.

• Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure each is imported in the correct format.

• Using sound effects, music, graphics, and other special effects creatively.

• Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to the required specifications for each client.

• Evaluate and understand social media video trends, and keep up-to-date with the latest video requirements and techniques.
