Content Writer

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Content Writers will be primarily responsible for using the written word to share information about our client’s products, services or industry. Their duties include preparing document outlines, updating content based on client edit requests and proofreading their work for tone, style, clarity, grammar and formatting. Secondary duties may include publishing of written content on platforms like Mailchimp.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content.

  • Write audience-friendly content that meets the needs of the client’s target audience, turning insights language that sets our clients up for success.

  • Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research.

  • Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement.

  • Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements.

  • Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write content.

  • Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation for each respective client.

  • Knowledge of email marketing publishing platforms like MailChimp is highly preferred.
